Job Placement Assistance

Our University provides students with job placement assistance. This service is tendered by Student Service Office, and is directed by our Chief Operational Officer (Director of Operational Affairs).

Goals: Our job placement assistance is targeted to 1) provide students with resources in regard to the updated and contemporary job market, employers news, and internship opportunities; 2) equip students with the knowledge of how to pack themselves to fit in the real world job market, such as how to write resumes, how to act during interviews, how to research employers, and how to gain professional skills. In order to achieve the above goals, we offer students from difference program various workshop, career fairs information, on-campus interview, and internship opportunities.

Workshops: We basically have three kinds of workshops, 1) workshop to teach students write resumes and cover letters, 2) workshop to give students knowledge of taking interviews, and conduct rehearsal interviews with students, 3) workshop to present students professional manners, such as business correspondence and telephone conversation, and etc.

Career fairs: we periodically provide students information about career fairs and encourage students to attend the career fairs to get the first-hand job opportunities.

On-campus interview: we have multiple affiliated employers who would recruit our outstanding students periodically. We would connect these employers and our students in various events, such as on-campus interviews, and on-campus company introduction

Internship opportunities: some of our courses are internship courses for our graduate students. We would assist our students in job search workshops to help them locate a company or enterprise who would receive interns. Our MBA, MSCS, MSGE, MSEE students would have opportunities to get on-site experience in the industries, and be instructed by both our faculty and our affiliated internship providers with updated industry knowledge.

More details will be update timely on our website www.csbu.us, our annual catalog, and our message board on campus.
